It's been a while since we've had an official Reschke reunion. I think we'll regret it if we don't try to keep up this tradition. I know it's a lot of work, but I'm willing to try to get the ball rolling and see what we can come up with. I know that travel, money and time are all issues we need to deal with. I thought this blog would be a great way to share ideas and get some input.
Location: Do any of you have access to or know of some great places to hold a reunion? I'm thinking it needs to be away from "home" and last 2-3 days. I was wondering about Moon Lake or in that area.??? Here's their website. There are cabins and tent sites available. Moon Lake
Timing is another important issue. My preference is right after school gets out (mid to late June), if possible. Can you please indicate what would work best for your families?
Once we start figuring these two things out, we can organize committees and come up with a solid plan.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all in August and we can talk about this some more.

Hi Dave, Thanks for starting this blog! I agree with you that we need to keep a regular Reschke reunion going for the Horst Reschke family! We are on year-round school so Sarah & Isaac are only out of school from July 4th until July 26th. They are off again from Aug. 17 to Sept. 4. I don't mind taking them out of school for a couple of days as long as it's not at the beginning of their new grade. So, basically my vote would be for July (after the 4th) or the third week in Aug. We will try to work around whatever the majority decide is best. I will search for locations and ideas when I have a little more time. Thanks! We'll see you soon!
